First of all let me clear that in this blog there is nothing negative about Feminism, Me Too or Aurat March, its about those women who post negative image of every women and think that they are representing all of them. Let’s start with Aurat March, few days back many women came on streets of Karachi and Lahore to support Aurat March on 8th March Women’s Day, with holding different type of posters according to their RIGHTS. Unfortunately many women shared their thoughts on social media that those were not even the real issue which women face in their daily life. That march was suppose to be supportive for those women who faced domestic violence, rape or physical abuse. In that march we only saw few sensible posters who supported the real cause, while others were just sharing their personal frustrations through those posters and there was nothing to do with the march (not my words many women said this in few videos and tweets on social media which you can easily find them with the hashtag of #AuratMarch). Well let’s move from those useless posters and come to the basic one which created hype last year “Apna Khana Khud Garam Karo”, okay as a Man I have no problem to even cook food for myself because our Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.W used to do all his work from cooking to cleaning, so now accepting this Sunnah I personally would love to cook but you know the main problem here? the Attitude, the attitude and the way of saying the line depends on the reaction of other person. I’m not going to start any Men Vs Women war here but you have to accept that Allah made both of us different and gave us different type of abilities, like women can’t go to war, if someone comes to your house to rob so you won’t shout for the women of your house for a help, definitely you will come in front of them to protect, so why did you decided to do it? can’t women fight with the robbers? they are fighting for equal rights so what if we make as equal fights too. Now I would like to describe the last Mard March, there were some posters which wasn’t offensive but I found them funny, because they just replied to the Aurat March in a funny way but couldn’t raise the real issues of men. Let me share few issue men face in their life. First he knows from childhood that some day he has to start working to support him, his family and has to save some money for his future family and he can’t back from this responsibility he doesn’t have any Plan B, there are many men in our circle who go to work at 8 AM and comes back home around 9 PM every day, he works so hard for his family, to pay the bills and now imagine Just Imagine that man comes home and his wife says “Apna Khana Khud Garam Karo” because equality, what is the first thing he’s going to do? you are right he will give divorce in a minute and will try to find someone more sensible who can feed his hungry tired stomach when he comes home from work. There are many men who works abroad, they work like a machine to support their family in Pakistan. They even have to send money to their Parents and their siblings some time if they need, still people think that he must be living in a luxury in abroad. Don’t we know that there are many men who face domestic abuse everyday but they never talk about it or they can’t share it on their social media because their respect will get hurt, people will start calling them coward, that’s what you would call a man who gets beat up by his wife but suddenly when a women post about her Bad Break Up Issue, all women comes in her support because women has very strong support group, then there are some men, some so called Feminist men who try to be feminist just to talk to girls, there’s no reality behind their statement because either they are trying to be in the game to get noticed/get numbers or trying to make some girl happy so she can imagine that how Sweet/Caring/Sensitive guy he is who takes step for women but the guy can’t even take a step in his own house I bet. Well let’s move forward, suppose if some girl posts about harassment, what whole society is going to do? they will start boycotting that man, by calling his female family members and wish that it happens same to them, start commenting on his pictures “Sexual Harasser” without even seeing any evidence that even if he did it or not? we have 3 strong examples. Johnny Depp, Ronaldo and Ali Zafar. Well the case of Johnny Depp is clear in front of everyone that he wasn’t guilty in that case and even his wife tortured him mentally and physically court approved all the evidences which Jonny provided, all videos and police records, where are those feminists now who used to comment “Sexual Harasser” under Johny Depp’s pictures and defamed him? shouldn’t they get sued for that? this thing ruined his career, people stopped meeting him and inviting him into awards. Those women who started defaming Johnny Depp without knowing or seeing the evidence are also responsible for Mr Depp’s bad reputation. Now where Ronaldo and Ali Zafar are still receiving bad comments on their pictures, that they are the rapist and harasser, its very easy for a girl to just post one tweet about some guy and everyone starts judging him and punishing him without any trial. Remember people only show you on social media what they want to, everyone is a good Anchor, Journalist and Editor these days, if this isn’t equality then which type of Equality women want? your issues are genuine but you ruined the movement by encouraging issues which are just allegations without evidences. Coming back to Pakistan Aurat March, “Lo Sahi se Baith Gai” I’m 100% sure your mom must say this to you to sit properly and don’t sit like a guy, where men involved in this whole scene?????? I don’t think any father would ever tell his daughter to sit properly because it’s a Mom’s Job, one another issue people criticize men about that they prefer Beautiful, Tall, Fair and Good Looking girl for marriage, some how its wrong to categorize human but don’t the parents of bride side categorize the Rishtas? If a guy earns under 30K so there’s straight NO from them by saying (They are protecting their girl’s future) but if a guy is mismatch with the personality of their daughter but earn more than 1 Lac would be the perfect husband for their daughter, some of them cross the limits by saying to Rishta Agents “Not to send anyone from Pakistan, we only prefer Rishta from US or Canada”, where those guys should go who earn 30K per month and live in Pakistan? should they start doing March about it? no they stay silent but I’m confused that women who were holding vulgar posters in their hand with sanitary pads, few disturbing diagrams of physical parts on road” are saying that women aren’t allowed to do anything, whoever designed this march has some personal issues with men because it wasn’t Aurat March but Hate Men March. We need to calm down and think where we are moving this society, kids from our society are looking at us as an example, men and women they need each other, I hope they both understand it someday. Ladies respect your men and men respect your lady, that’s the only option we have.
Thank You
